Dr. Disberger teaches program planning, early field experience in agricultural education, Inquiry-Based Curriculum in Agricultural STEM Biotechnology Education, and Agricultural Electrical Systems. She assists with student intern placement and supervision during the spring semester, and she serves as an advisor for agricultural education students and helps recruit new students. Along with teaching classes, she coordinates the Beginning Educator Support Team (BEST) program for early-career agriculture teachers. Her research focuses on the experiences of early-career agriculture teachers.
Brandie was formerly an agricultural education instructor and FFA adviser at Southeast of Saline High School. She is a member of the American Association for Agricultural Education, the National Association of Agricultural Educators, the Association of Career and Technical Education, and the Kansas Association of Career and Technical Education.
