Student Computer Recommendations

Department of Communications and Agricultural Education

Agricultural Education

Computers for agricultural education students should have the capacity to perform normal computing needs, such as internet, email, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. No special software, platform or brands are required. Students should consider that they may be issued an iPad for teaching in their advanced coursework, so a computer capable of synchronizing with iPads is essential.

Agricultural Communications and Journalism

Agricultural communication and journalism students are expected to have a computer that is able to operate the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. This is required for multiple courses in the program. Primary applications used include Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere.
