Dr. Lishan Su has been actively engaged in projects emphasizing the integration of marketing strategies with the adoption of innovations in sustainable agricultural practices. These projects explore topics such as consumer acceptance of food produced using precision farming technologies and the impact of farmers’ adoption of digital technologies, such as drones, on farm productivity and worker well-being. This line of research aims to contribute to interdisciplinary efforts that advance environmental, economic, and social sustainability. Additionally, Dr. Su has conducted extensive research in consumer behavior within the dynamic digital landscape, an environment saturated with data, including negative information and misinformation. The primary focus lies in examining how consumers navigate and interpret business information across various online platforms, such as social media and customer reviews, as well as offline touchpoints like interactions with frontline employees.
Dr. Lishan Su previously served as adjunct faculty in Marketing at K-State and as a visiting assistant professor in Marketing at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. During these roles, she taught a diverse range of courses to both undergraduate and graduate students, including Digital Marketing, Marketing Research, International Marketing, and Consumer Behavior.
